Tachograph Technician Training Courses

Continental's VDO Tachograph courses are designed for Tachograph Technicians. Only VDO can offer DVSA approved training direct from the OE manufacturer. All courses are delivered in a custom-made training facility with classrooms and a garage, which houses both a high-speed rolling road and roller brake tester.

Initial Tachograph Technician Course:

• This 4-day course is designed for Tachograph Technicians requiring full DVSA approval for the installation, repair, testing, calibration and sealing of Analogue and Digital Tachograph Equipment.
• Training period: 4 day course (face-to-face)
• Participants: Maximum 6 people
• Training fee: £950.00 per person

Tachograph Technician Revision Course:

• This 1-day course is intended for Tachograph Technicians with basic knowledge of digital tachographs. It provides a more detailed look at the functionality and data, including interpretation of printouts. Additional topics cover includes analogue tachograph's, VDO Workshop Tablet, and the most recent special notices issued by the DVSA.
• Training period: 1 day course (face-to-face or distance learning or eLearning)
• Participants: Maximum 12 people
• Training fee: £195.00 - £295.00 per person
• Requirements: Technicians will need a valid (not expired) Tachograph workshop card
